My husband and I thought it might be fun to enroll our cute baby in modeling. We thought seeing her on a diaper box or baby food ad might be nice to add to her brag box for later in life. We certainly did nothing for any monetary gain. We were promised auditions if we paid $565.00 to Kid Modeling. Our daughter would have her own website and modeling companies would be able to view her profile and pictures worldwide. We were even told that a modeling agency here locally was interested in her. We were told that our daughter had a lot of potential. One of the things we had to do before being contacted by a modeling agency was to go on Angie's List and write a good review about Kid Modeling. I should have known better than to do that. They got my money. They got there good review on Angie's List. They even were slick enough to hook me up with 1 (one) modeling agency in LA. I got audition emails for about 2 months and then suddenly March 6th (only 2 months later) the audition emails stopped coming in. I called the only modeling agency here in town where I live and found out that no one had called him from Hawaii named Robert or no one had contacted him from Scottsdale Arizona from a company called Kid Modeling. To top things off, the man even told me that he did no modeling with kids under 12 years of age. When I texted Robert (my talent scout agent in Hawaii) and asked him why the interest in my daughter suddenly dropped when in the beginning he was all gung ho about her, he said he didn't forget about me but that I just needed to be patient.in the meantime, the website in which my daughter's pics were posted and supposedly able to be seen worldwide was suddenly down and could not be viewed or fixed and had technical issues all of the sudden that needed to be fixed. Wow! How convenient. I wonder how many other mom's and dad's got scammed from Kid Modeling. I wish I could get my money back but Im afraid it's too late. Please parents do not do the same thing I did. Know that if anyone wants to post your childs picture on a diaper box... They pay you. Not the other way around.
