I received a phone call that someone wanted to buy my Vacation Village Bonaveneture timeshare. I checked out the Choice Funding USA on the web and their site was up and running and looked good. They faxed me forms to fill out and return and asked for closing costs to be added to the $15,000 purchase price. (I can send a copy of this document). The wire transfer went directly to J.P. Morgan Chase Bank in Orlando, FL Account #942631516. Michael Harper (so he said) was the underwriter and on the phone to me several times a day. He even told me that Steven Kim was the buyer. The closing was to be on March 5. Then, someone may have been on to them because Michael called to say they wanted to close early and there was a "transfer fee" from Bonaventure (Vacation Village) to someplace. They needed another $1998. My gut flipped, that should have told me something, but I sent the money anyway. End of phone calls. NOW, the website no longer comes up and the phone Michael used is no longer in service. The phone for Choice Funding USA (1-877-557-9514) still has an answering machine but it will probably be gone soon.
