We were contacted by Mr. Wilson on 8/10 saying they had a buyer for our timeshare in Tennessee. We were asked to send $9,568.14 for legal/recording/recovery fees. Mr. Wilson was not very professional and I said I would get back to him to see if we wanted to pursue the sale. He got very defensive and asked me if I understood that he was selling my timeshare and couldn't understand why I didn't want to start the sale process. The next day Mrs. Talyor Clark called and said they would send me a email with a contract and other information. I said I'd review it and let them know if we wanted to go along with the sale. I checked on the Internet to see if this was a real business and it came up on firefox as being a good business saying it was the #1 Choice for settlement & closings. Mrs. Clark called again the next day and asked what was the hold up and I said at this point in time we didn't have enough money to go with the sale. She said she would check with her boss and see if they could reduce the payment and they would advance us the rest of the money until the closing of the deal. She called and said she checked with Mr. Shawn Michael McKlatchy and we could wire transfer $2,888.14 and they would advance us the balance $6,680.00 until closing was completed. With lots of reservations I wire transferred the money on 8/23 and called to give them the wire tracking information. Mrs. Talyor Clark then called me on the next day and said they would begin the processing of the sale and will call back in a few days to let us know how things were progressing. I didn't get any calls so on 8/30 I called to see how the sale was progressing and all I got was a busy signal. I then sent an email to Travel Options America and it bounced back saying address unknown. Went to firefox and looked up Travel Options America and it pulled up the website with the same phone number and email address that I had tried to contact. Looked up the same today 8/31 and web page no longer exists. I filled out a complaint form with the FBI this morning.
