Found a dress on this website which was sold out elsewhere, the website initially looked legitimate and I proceeded to check out, entered my billing and shipping addresses then clicked next to enter my credit card details, a dodge page then appeared and there was an error message saying transaction was declined, I have no idea what declined it but luckily this happened before I even gave them my credit card details. I then searched the website and found that it was set up in China and all the clothing items were copied from other legitimate online sellers, e.G. The dress I was buying actually shows their original store link, except when you click on the link it directs to another bogus 'discount Nike shoes' page. The more I checked the more holes I found: no customer contact details except an email registered with Foxmail (a Chinese Gmail equivalent), spelling, typos everywhere, shipping information makes absolutely no sense, all the logos on security, MasterCard or VISA lead to a pop up window for 'Nike shoes'. I emailed their only contact [email protected] and got a reply from an anonymous Chinese person addressing me as 'Dear Friend', I stopped there. After reading the complaints on Wang Wang Co and another user's report on Maxmaradress.com I'm sure I came across the same scammers, good thing for me is they didn't get my credit card details, however I have already given them my full name and billing address, I am worried that these information will now be passed around and of course the more information they collect over time will eventually be enough to hack into your accounts. I have learned a lesson there and will have to keep my fingers crossed that nothing else will happen.
