Revitaderm/Lift Perfect Radiance Free Trial Scam
Consumer Report

Between November & 17th January took amounts from current bank account accruing to almost £400. Foolishly I had'nt checked my account as Xmas & used this Debit account often for Xmas gifts. Then-horror, January realised. Sent for products in Nov, there was no tie in. Products kept arriving from West Lothian, Scotland, though did'nt have any ingredients as to what they were. I perhaps should'nt have used them, but I did for about 10 days, then abandoned them. I am a person who does numerous computer checks before on switching computer on to ensure no one can get into accounts & know what I'm doing!
Action-was mortified that more monies could be taken:£79.99, £74.95 etc every couple of wks. Told Halifax Bank. They get I feel thousands of these complaints about this company. They cancelled my Debit Card, issued a new one. I kept on to speak to Fraud Team. Important to do this. They are so helpful but inundated. They said I needed to phone the Company to get the Agreement! Stopped. I had tried a no. Could not get through. However Fraud Team kjindly wrote a letter to the nasty retailers bank? Which bank. Told them to ensure no more money taken from my account. Halifax said in letter they give that bank 15 days to cancel the subscription & if another debit is charged Halifax gave me a Helpline no. 08456009180. But I needed to gert hold also if poss myself with this nasty company to cancel. I phoned them, after reading awful stories on internet about people caught out. Got this no from internet: 08081683685. Phew-I felt instantly better. Phoned Revitaderm to cancel phoney agreement. Very obviously it was diverted to a call centre in Phillipines. (I've worked with enough people from that country to know the accent.) Extremely polite & helpful girl operator-showed concern though obviously being paid by phoney company to deal with loads of calls, many from irate customers. I kept very very calm, explained my concerns. She said it was an agreement etc. However, asked what I'd done with products. Said I'd posted them back (white lie-I threw them away) She put me on hold for at least 5 minutes while cancelling agreement. Be patient & calm during this call as they will do what they can to help I found. Said would I be happy with a 50% refund. At that point that was like winning the lottery. I said yes & thanked her. She put me on hold, then gave me these very long reference nos for agreement cancellation. Needed my email address. Said not happy about that. Had no choice if wanted any refund. Then brilliantly the next day a refund appeared followed a few days later by another refund till I got 50% refund from all taken amounts.
I reported all this to Banks Fraud Team again, as is the only way forward-by keeping calm & not ruffling feathers, as Fraud Team did not initially wish to take my call as so busy. I phoned them to say thank you for writing to the retailers bank to stop payments. This went down well & I was asked why I had'nt received a full refund. It got better & better. They would write to retailedes bank again to get a refund to my bank account. Meantime my bank would credit the other 50% of the refund needed though if refund went in also from bank they would take it out. Hope this helps. Good luck.
