I contracted with Citizen's Financial Group out of Phoenix Arizona to assist with Loan Modifcation. I checked them out prior to signing a contract. I signed and contract and enabled them to withdraw from my personal account the $ 2500 fee. I provided the entire loan documentation package, which they assembled and sent to my lender via fax. I recently emailed them for assistance, and the emails are returned, their phones are disconnected, and the web site does not exist anymore.
I have not received any notification from them on their status, so I beleive this entire company was a scam, and have obtained critical personal information from most likely thousands of people.
Please advise if there are similar instances so action my be taken
