On 3/5 my husband and I (from here on I'll say me for practicality) signed up for Directv with bundalling with Verison Fios. At this point money isn't important. Directv stated they contracted with Verison Fios in this area for Phone and internet as they only did cable. I was to call Verison to set up a date to come and install the phone and internet cables. The financing was done through Directv. I was to wait 24, to 48 hours for an e-mail from Verison. When I did no one had any idea what I was talking about. That was Wed. It wasn't till Friday that I was able to talk to someone, after talking on the phone for the 3 days that someone knew what bundaling was. He (Paul) stated they no longer bundle, and have not bundled in over a month!
When I called Directv back to cancel, stating the contract was null and void, they said no it was Verison Fios lieing, and I had 24 hours to cancel. Now I owe them $400.00 to cancel!
Also while I talked to the original person I asked her if I had 30 days to cancel and she said yes, repeatedly! They state this is a binding contract when it applies to them.
