So there I was going about my business when I open my mail for the day and see a bill for 220 dollars from Comcast! I was stunned as this was a $100 increase from our current bill. We immediately called them and after waiting on hold for over 15 minutes, I got the most disrespectful "customer service" rep I have ever spoken to. I asked her why my bill was so high and she informed me that my introductory period was expired and that we were now on the regular rate.
I asked her why I wasn't given a heads up as a courtesy and she said that they are not required to do that. Now, I am a military member and am frequently deployed and sometimes I forget mundane details like that. I then asked her if there was any way that she could help me out and she said with anger and sass in her voice that she could downgrade my service. I was very upset by this point, so I said fine just let me keep the internet as I don't really need the bundle anyway.
The internet alone is as much as what I was paying for the bundle!!! After I expressed my displeasure with her service, she hung up on me and cancelled my service without a confirmation or anything! So, we had to call back and find out what happened... 3 hours and 5 transfers later we find out that she cancelled everything!!! After getting that straightened out, we think that everything is o., k. But the next day all of a sudden, the DVR on my main tv mysteriously stops working, no sound or picture. Amazing!!! I am currently trying out Clear 4G in home internet. If it works, I am ditching Comcast forever and I don't care if the performance is a little slow!!!
