I went to Wells Fargo Bank in Anaheim Ca to close-out my saving account this morning.
They told me it will cost me $35 dollars to close my account.
I was totally dismay and to my surprise, they told me that was their policy will be closing fee of $35 for closing the account.
I disagreed and spoke to the branch manager, she waive this fee.
I'd like to confirm with you if this is right? And can Wells Fargo do this to the public legally.? And can, should we, as consumers, do anything to stop this ripped-off practice? Thank you.
