Basically I was lied to by the sales rep when he said I can eliminate my debt by 75%. He said that he can "negotiate" with my CC company and get my monthly payment down to about $125.00 a month instead of the $450.00 I was presently paying. He mentioned that there is a 90 day money-back guarantee if I do not save at least $2500 in the first 3 months. This was all boggus! Since I was now stuck with this program (no refund policy... Go figure), I decided to at least attempt at it. The "financial planner) said he can help me out. What he did was send me another credit card that had a deal that you can transfer money at 0% interest for 18 months. The credit limit on the card did not even cover 1/4th of the amount of debt I was in and when I proceeded forward with this "plan" that credit card company rejected my check (upon approval they said) and now I have missed a payment and my credit is screwed. They have only made my financial situation worse.
