This lady came knocking on our door in the afternoon of Feb. 22. She claimed that she was selling magazine subscriptions to help abused women, and that profits from the sales would go to the shelters for abused women.
She then suggested that I donate the 2 subscriptions that I bought, each one costing $24, to the shelters. She was so convincing and truly believable that I added an extra $15. Therefore, being scammed for a total of $63. Boy... Was I stupid for falling for her scam. I'll never do that again. I learned my lesson.
