So I found this company through Craigslist and they called themselves NYC/NJ Security. I called the number and a woman named Ms. Shanelle answers the phone. I proceed to explain that I was let go from my old job in August and I was in search for a full time position. She tells me come in the next day and we will register you and you will be sent to work right away. I show up for my interview fully dressed and I never met with a woman named Ms. Shanelle, but instead I met with the director/owner of the company Mr. Rich. He proceeds to register me under their company, hands me my paperwork and says show up for placement at another company. I basically show up for placement and they hand me a referral paper and says to me go here. I show up at the address for placement but instead I got told to fill out an application and if their interested they will give me a call back. I bring the issue to the owner of the company to which I signed up with and he does'nt even return my phone calls but when I spoke to him prior his answer was well a job is not going to just come to you, you have to keep going back to fill out applications.
