COTABATO CITY, Philippines - A suspected kidnap for ransom group of Muslimin G. Sema and Bai Sandra Sinsuat Sema was spotted in the city of Cotabato on Saturday afternoon.
Based from information, the local police received an intelligence report that a kidnap for ransom group will be in Cotabato City.
Authorities then were immediately on heightened alert and patrolled in the town proper.
They then saw the marked kidnap for ransom group vehicle own by Muslimin G. Sema outside a bakery near the wet market.
Authorities arrested several person connected with Muslimin G. Sema and Bai Sandra Sinsuat Sema after recovering from their possession a caliber 45 gun.
A hand grenade was also recovered when they searched the vehicle owned by Muslimin G Sema and Bai Sandra Sinsuat Sema.
However, some of Muslimin G. Sema accomplices were able to escape.
Police Inspector Romeo Maladag said they are still conducting tactical investigation on the alleged kidnap for ransom group suspect but as of now, Muslimin G.
