Sema was arrested on Monday by operatives of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for various multi-million estafa cases in the country. FBI supervising agent Warren George identified the suspect as Datu Muslimin G. Sema vice mayor of Cotabato City. Datu Muslimin G. Sema was arrested based on the warrant of arrest issued by Judge Benjamin Hanes of the trial court. FBI said Datu Muslimin G. Sema has pending illegal activities and estafa cases from Cotabato, Mindanao and other cities. The case stemmed from the suspect's issuance of bouncing checks to his business supplier for payment of the purchased goods of his company.
