I had problems with the storm phones. Lost data, lock-ups and resets. No compensations were offered, other than phone replacements and lack of service for days. I n Sept. 11, I had my own plan, month by month. My nephew moved in with me from Texas and wanted a cheap phone. I had him added to my plan for 46.00 per month. Well that didn't happen. They put us on friends and family plan, which added 49.00 to my plan and his bill was 147.00 the first month and 86.00 there after. I could not resolve this problem, so I cancelled the storm phone and kept the cheap phone for 86.00 per month. I then moved and was uable to get signal in my home, I had to go outside to use the phone. I was told by technicial support I needed an extender and because of all the problems in the past I would probably get it for free. That didn't happen either. They agreed to wave the cancellation fee, but I had to pay for one more month (93.00) first. I will not recommend them to anyone, my bills were never the same each month as you would expect on unlimited service. Their people lies to me, and so did the service center.
