On December, I paid a deposit of $560.00 and was told that I would be receiving a call within 10 to 14 days regarding my order. The order was placed by Matt E., after a month has passed with no word from Empiretoday. I called on January 11 and requested a refund of my deposit because I had no communication from the company. Upon explaining the purpose of my call the representative told me that the carpet tile was in and that they could install it the next day. I told her no thanks because the company had no regards for me as a customer to call and let me know what was happening for a month and now because I was calling amazingly the carpet tiles were in.
I was transferred to a representative named David who had to talk with a manager in the refund department (I waited on the phone) and when he did get back to me with an offer of 10% discount on the price. I told him no and I just wanted my deposit back. He said that it would take 10 to 14 business days for me to receive a refund, which I was okay with. However, I called back on February 13 and spoke with Stephanie, who said that she forwared this request and provided a confirmation #1-756954477 for activity number 1-726507232. She stated that someone would call me back in three (3) days that was 2/13 and today is 2/16. Still no check or return call. I just want my deposit of $560.00 returned ASAP.
