Received a notification of an award in the amount of $1,400, 000.00, and asking me to send in a $19.99 fee made payable to D.R.D. Main Office Payments Director.
What really raised the hair on my neck was the fact that they required an official signature on the front of the "FILE" check. Legitimate checks are not "endorsed" until they're presented for payment.
I questioned why if I was the winner of something, why would I have to pay a fee to get it? I also questioned why I would have to "endorse" a file copy check before getting the real one in hand, which would be returned to the sender with my endorsed signature in tact.
I began to think this was not real and decided to google to see this D.R.D. Was legitimate. Wow! That's when I saw all the complaints, and decided to add my victim report to hopefully help other potential victims.
How are these predators allowed to do business? How did they get my name and how do i get off their mailing lists, and their radar? These criminals need to be stopped! They have your name, your address, and who knows what other personal information, so they could be watching you, targeting you, and or following you for whatever other unholy attempts to get at you or your finances.
What is their modis operandi? They would come to your home to present your prize and force entry into your home? This is scary and there needs to be help for the harmless victims. Please do something. If they have addresses, why can't the law find them and come down on them. Why can't they be eradicated out of business?
