We found a puppy from the Puppy-Parlor website that we fell in love with! I called and spoke with Linda for some information on the one we were interested in, the breed in general, etc. After a couple discussions we made plans for me to make the hour trip out to pick up the puppy I was interested in. I confirmed the trip by e-mail that morning and headed out a couple hours later. Thank goodness I called on the way because even after confirming THAT morning, she said they weren't going to be home for the weekend. She felt terrible and would call the next day. She didn't, so I called her. Now our hearts were set on this puppy. She "felt terrible" again, but the dogs consignor was keeping the puppy, but I should take the day off work as planned and make the trip out anyway because she had plenty of other breeds that she was sure I would love. Besides, she didn't know why I was "stuck" on the breed we were wanting. We passed on that great offer! We found another breeder and WOW! What a difference! She didn't talk down to me and answered all my questions and concerns. She had the breed I wanted and helped me choose one with the right demeanor for my situation. We couldn't be happier in the end. Guess good things really are worth waiting for, and this place is worth skipping.
