I advertized in Creiglists for rental a room. I was scamed from a person name Linda who want to rent the place. I thought I get a good tenant, but not, I was scamed, I lost $1300.00. I post all her email for everyone to read:

comfortably also i'm paying more and more for having my items with the Company DEMO-RAGE, you can understand that transiting cross Atlantic is not easy so i am making arrangement with the furniture company to deliver some furniture and the car before my arrival after you have gotten the rent and security deposit. I will ask you for a favor here, can i rely on you to take delivery of my furniture and the car for me when they are delivered. I will instruct the furniture company to contact you to schedule a delivery time that will be convenient for you to receive the items for me. As you will be handling the delivery of the items with the rent and deposit that will be sent to you so that you can help me to make the payment when they are delivered. I just got a notification from my Financier that the check has been
mail out to you today and here is the FEDEX tracking number provided
by them (793187016169). I will be in the state sometime around
next-week because i've been checking to see the next available flight
for next-week, i will let you know exact date and time i will arrive
to the state, so once you have the payment just get it deposited with
your bank and once the funds are available, you are to deduct for
the rent, then transfer the rest fund to the person in charge of
the delivery of the furniture and my car through Western Union Money
Transfer, because i want the delivery to be made before my arrival
so that i can settle in comfortably.

, i will pay the rest balance the day i arrive, because you are to
transfer $1300 to the delivery agent, so that they can come for the
delivery this is because i want the delivery to be made before my
arrival for me to settle in comfortable... So concerning western
union thing;- You are to deduct the western union Transfer charges
from the $1300 you are sending, the transfer charges should be $160 i guess.

I read this email, I realized that something wrong. I check with my bank. I found out that the check they send me is fraudulent. And I already lost $1300.00 already. It is very very sad!!!
