On 09 Jan I received a text message on my mobile phone 19176000887 that my cell phone has won a Euromillion Lottery in a draw. This message was sent by [email protected] coveying me congratulations and asking for sending an email to claim the prize. I sent the email and was replied accordingly that it is confirmed that my cell phone has won the prize. I furnished them my information and cell phone no. Finding no reply it is clear that this is being done by scammers for identity theft.
This is a cyber crime which should be dealtwith according to cyber crime law and the scammers be punished accordingly.
The message was from: 6439. I was also informed to call 447031946126.
