Price quoted vs at time of work vs billing do not agree. Quoted by Jeff over the phone as $150 to move the 1000 gal tank only 30ft. Price quoted Includes all supplies, blocks, piping, fittings, et. Work completed Dec 19. Blair completed the move and wrote bill for $142 total includes 90minutes labor and piping. (Blair had to use our existing items (blocks, chains as he did not have these available on his truck). Jeff quoted $60/hr for work (as did Blair on his receipt). Billing received shows scratch out of original price and rewrite equating to $75/hr. Total due is $72. New bill received for $162 plus $2 late fee.
I immediately went to their Burlington, Wa office. Jeff not available. Blair was there and said it was a mistake. But, the tank is still in the dirt whereas it was several inches above and, two days later the property owner informed me that the tank should be 4 to 8 inches above the ground.
4 phone calls have gone without reply. Property Owner and I went to their Burlington Office and left message with James to have Jeff call the Property Owner. To date, no reply from Jeff (Manager, Vanderyaht Propane Company).
