I downloaded a free app from android market, I can't remember which one, but shortly after I got a text message from cellfire iq, from the phone #83577 that said cellflame IQ fun facts at $9.99 mo. Msg&data rates may apply. I responded that they should take me off their mailing list. A few seconds later I got another message from cellflame this time for celeb gossip at a rate of $9.99, I responded that I would report them f they did not stop and received an automated response saying my message was not understood. A few weeks later I received two more messages from them welcoming me to the two services again fun iq and celebrity gossip. This time however there was an option to reply stop so I did and they confirmed that my subsciption which I never signed up for had been cancelled. I noticed on my last cell phone bill that I had been charged $9.99. When I contacted t-mobil they said it was from a 3rd party texting subscription service. But they didnt have the name, or contact information of the company. The t-mobil rep was kind of rude about it and told me that they were helping me out by even trying to get a refund for me. I spoke to a supervisor who seemed very uninterested by the whole situation and literally had nothing to say. I looked through my text messages and found the thread I mentioned above. On one of the text messages there was a telephone number. I called it and told them I wanted a refund. The lady responded that I had to fax them a copy of my cell phone bill and that then they would issue me a refund. I told her I did not know who they were and was not comfortable sending my bill to them. She said the name of the company was mobile service. I asked where they were located and she said Boston. I called back and asked to speak to a supervisor and she said non was available. I asked for a contact number and she said that she could not provide one. I told her I was going to have my attorney contact them and what was their legal address and who was the contact person. She said they were just the cancellation hot line and that she could not provide me with that information. I asked what her name was and she got very nervous and wouldn't say. I asked if she was refusing to give me her name and she said no that they were just the cancellation hot line and that she would have to end the call and hung up on me.
