My tire blew out and I pulled over to the Sunoco at 79? Bustleton Avenue in Philadelphia, PA. My cell phone was dead. I went into the Sunoco mini market and asked the female attendant behind the glass booth if there was a pay phone. She said no. I then asked if I could use the gas station phone to call Triple AAA for assistance which is a 800 number. Even if it wasn't I would leave money for the phone bill. She told me that there was no phone. I then asked if I could use her cell phone and was told no. I had to walk across the street to a Nail Salon which was closed but the owners were in there cleaning. They allowed me to use their phone to get help. After the towing company came out the gas station attendant came out the front doors of the mini-market and just gawked at my situation. I was so taken back by the lack of help she provided. If my situation was different such if I was experiencing a heart attack or was in a car accident I guess I would be left to die. I never in my life was treated so badly.
