I was sent to LGH by an advertisement on TV. I gave them all
my information and they assured me they would be working with
BOA, my lender, to effect my mortgage modification. They even
told me that in their research they found that BOA had been charging
me more than they should have been. After telling me they would
give me a 400 dollar discount if I paid the money up front instead
of three payments of $1200 (June 1) they charged me the full $3600 and my inquirys and conplaints went nowhere. After they
had all of the money, I never heard from them again. I filed a
complaint with the Better Business Bureau in Phoenix, AZ and they
replied to them that they were actively working on my modification. At this point the BBB said I should consult a lawyer.
Subsequently my loan was transferred to Green Tree Servicing,
who never heard from LGH. Also, Green Tree told they had no way
to do loan modifications in Hawaii.
