On December 30 I went to Instant Tax Service to take advantage of thier Instant Cash Advance where they advertise Everybody Gets a Check. The office looks like a dump nothing like what they advertise on thier website. (No refreshments, nothing, it is not a comfortable office and the wait was very long and most of thier equipment hardly work. They don't even have a phone. That is why everytime I called I spoken to someone who used a cell phone with a Georgia number. When I applied for the loan I thought I would qualify for the 1000.00 cash advance but was offered 300.00 I took my last paycheck stub and identification and that is all that I needed. They are not very informative when it came to the filing of my taxes because they told they could file my taxes using my last paycheck stub. They told my that they could not file my taxes until January 17 because the IRS are not accepting returns until then and that I should have my electronic check by January 25.
First of all, they are not honest they make up thier own rules and lies. The IRS does not have certain days when the accept people returns where is that printed at? Then they claim that the IRS had Security Breaches well to be honest that is not my problem because I paid for a service and was told I should have my return by January 25, then it was the 27th, and then the 30, well now it is the 31 and still I don't have my return.
What I find even more bizzare about this whole thing is that no one wants to take responsibilty for the lies and deception. People are in dire situations and depended on that money and when there is dishonesty just to get clients in your raggedy door does not look good for the company as a whole. This is Buyer Beware and You can bet your money that I will be pursuing an investigation against this franchise. My only advise to be honest what you are about and please more professionals because when you try to talk to someone regarding bad service that is just a run around.
