I recently bought my daughter an Android tablet. She is a HUGE reader so I wanted to find a website where I could download the latest books at a resonable cost. I came across getbooksfree.com. YOu pay a one time fee of 19.99 and get unlimited access to their book downloads. The problem was, the second I paid my money and logged in to my account, I discovered the the books are very old and not at all what the adverstising made it seem I was purchasing. Most of the books they were charging for were free on my kindle app. There were no recent releases or anything appropriate for my daughter. I, within minutes, contacted the company and asked for a refund and they refused citing their return policy. I understand that it was in writing that there are no refunds, but I also was lied to about the product and I feel taken advantage of. I have contacted them daily since the purchase asking for my money back and they will not respond. I feel I was scammed. Do not use getbooksfree.com!
