I am purely relating my experience with CTR Media Group who’s website can be seen at www.ctrmediagroup.co.uk and leave you to draw your own conclusions.
It started when I received an unsolicited phone call from them at the start of January offering me advertising on Facebook. After several phone calls from them they final pressured me into taking out their service. The agreed price was to be £80 but when I received the invoice it asked for £99 which I queried. They said if I paid the £99 they would refund the remaining £19. They told me the cheque was posted the following day but I have never received it.
As regards my advert, it is impossible to find on Facebook and boy have I tried and none of my friends have seen it either. There has been no increase in the traffic to my website and the only people to have visited it are myself and them.
I asked for a full refund on the grounds of being miss sold and failure to provide the service promised. They have admitted to having miss sold and told me one of their employees Daniel James was sacked because of it.
I have seen other posts on Grumbletext regarding Answer IT and The Social Media People and CTR Media Group have most of the hallmarks of these companies.
I have posted here previously and CTR replied offering to sort things out so I called them as instructed and was promised a full refund. Again I have just been given the runaround and have never received the refund. I am extremely dissatisfied with this company and feel I have been constantly lied to.
