Check was drawn on: Allied Convention Services, Inc, Sends large check-supposed to deduct salary and forward bulk of money to 3rd party

The usual reip off targeting people using Craig's List to find a job. They offer you a home based job and send a check for large amount and request that I deposit immediately and send bulk of money to 3rd party. They prey on unemployed in this awful economy and I try to scam them back by making them waste money sending me the bogus checks.

After reviewing your resume I am pleased to offer you this full time position as a Customer Service Representative with our company Surge Data, a global provider of customer and tech support services. This position we are offering is home based and pays $17 per hour.

Job Responsibilities
Inbound/outbound phone calls and responding to client requests
Provide clients with product and service information
Identify and resolve customer issues using our database
Data entry and responding to e-mails
Research billing issues

Since this is a work at home position we will arrange to have home office equipment shipped to your residence at no cost to you. We will be utilizing a third party shipping agent to ship your equipment and it will include a laptop with software included, printer, fax machine and VoIP phone. A check from our payroll processor will be mailed to you to cover the cost. This check must be deposited into your bank account.

Once the funds are available a money transfer must be sent to the shipping agent by either MoneyGram or Western Union.

You will be receiving a welcome packet in the mail that will contain vital information about our company and what will be expected from you as an employee of this company.included in the welcome packet will be a W-4 form that must be completed and faxed along with a valid photo id before you can start receiving paychecks.

Letter arrives with check from David Harris, but mailed by Robert Larose 160 Hall St Brooklyn NY 11205 The check is drawn on "Allied Convention Services, Inc" 2502 Lake Orange Dr. Orlando FL 32837 in the amount of $1760.25 of which I was instructed to deposit in my bank account and wait for email telling me where to send $1500.
