I parked my car at the State of Texas Jail in a marked handicap parking space. There were no posted restrictions in or anywhere else around that space, only that it was a handicap space.
I went in the front door to ask were I could file a Criminal Protective order against someone who was in Jail for assaulting me (with a deadly weapon). They told me that it was in the building across the street.
Several hours when I returned to my car, I found it had been towed. They stated it was towed because I was not present on "their" property.
Quite handicap (permanently) and out of the hospital for 3 days, I had to wait outside in the rain while a friend of mine drive me to south Dallas to get my car back.
I was charged $226 for trying to obtain protection from the State of Texas because I was across the street in a different parking lot.
Never go to the Government and expect protection or justice!
