I have entered into many contest recently (pch) and some called to say i won. I was a sceptic, but went along with the "game.in order for the prize to be delivered i was to pay with green dot moneypak from walmart store only. The money pak was to be held until after i received the prizes. It was a contractor's fee. I did so, thinking i would beat them at their own game and retrieve the money before they did. I did give them the activation code (dumb) so they could make sure i was co operating.
Then some story that they called me with the prize on the way but the truck delivering the prizes was stopped by the pa. Police dept. And need my approvel to release it. Next call was that the tax bureau would not release the prizes until the tax was paid. Well i went into the moneypak to see how to retrieve it but i was too late. I had checked several times and it money was still there. I did not know how to retrieve it so i called green dot to ask for help and the money was gone. They told me they froze the account that it went to but i need to file a police report. I don't want any notoriety for my stupidity. I too well known. Can i report this without anyone knowing
