I purchased a LG Plasma TV in 2009 and a 5year warranty from Brands Mart in Atlanta Ga. (Doraville) store. The TV stopped showing a picture on December 7. I called the store immediately and informed them of my warranty, but they had no records of this purchase. Two days later I found my reciept and they later found my purchase in the system. They informed me that they would repair or replace my TV. I informed them that through my research on the internet, this has been a common problem with LG Plasma TVs and that it must be a defect... There service provider (Normans electronics) has made two service calls to my house requiring that I take off work each time because they dont work on weekends and my TV is yet to be repaired and on the last visit the technician discovered that the new parts from LG where defected. I have been to the store and talk with the store management on the December 19, and January 2 and each time I have requested that they replace my TV or give my refund but they refused and told me that my TV would be ready within the next two days and when I would call after those two days they would not return my phone calls. This has been the worst customer service experienced that I have ever had from a Department store. I am going on my second week in January and my TV has not been repaired and I have also recieved a cable bill for a cable box that I have not been able to use since Novemeber 2011. This company is dangerous to consumers...
