I purchased this product for my 16 mo. Old Pekingnese. Used it only twice and then he developed lesions inside his mouth and a severe allergy. Loss of color on face due to licking his nose as his mouth hurt so bad. 2nd day his immune system was compromised and quickly brought his to vet. He is now on antibiotics and the $10.00 which I spent turned into a $132.00 vet visit not to mention the pain my doggie is in. He's on his way back to health now after a week but still can see gum damage that is healing. OK, it does remove any tartar or plaque but really did not expect this! Buyer beware as your dog may be able to handle it but mine was not.
