I found this site offering a $2.95 car history report, so I thought great, for 3 bucks I see what they have. Well I did get a report on the car but it was such a lame report that I bit the bullet and paid the $30 bucks for a real CarFax report.
Now after the holiday I'm reviewing my credit card statement and what do you know, not only is the $2.95 charge from there, but here is two more charges of $29.95 on 11/23 two days after the $2.95 charge and now one more $29.95 charge on 12/26 from these bastards.
This is a total scam, as I look pretty closely at these internet offers before giving them my CC# and I didn't see any agreement to get signed up for some kind of lame subscription.
Anyway I have been trying to contact them to get a refund and get them to stop billing me and I cannot get through. Every time I call I get disconnected or get a message saying that my call cannot be completed at this time. 888-613-1485 CARREPORT is description on the statement. I have notified my credit card company of the fraud, and will keep trying to get ahold of CarVINHistory idiots.
