We were also victims of this typical auto opt-in scam. We signed up for a small payday type loan and apparently there is a hidden checkbox that needs to be unchecked or you get this charge. We have already disputed with the bank, but because these scammers do it as a check as opposed to a credit card charge, you can't dispute it with your bank, you have to do it with these criminals first.
We have already filed a BBB complaint (you have to do it in the Northwest/Oregon/Alaska section of the BBB). I will be finding what other forms of legal action can be taken against them and will post whatever I find.
We have left a message with their answering service (cowards can't even answer their own phones because they know they're a scam). Their phone number is 1-818-380-5710. Supposedly you can also leave a message on their site www.supportpmcmembership.com but I'm sure that does absolutely nothing.
I would love to hear any other stories by anyone succesful at getting the charge refunded or any legal actions.
