I have received a call from this company numerous times and would just hang up when I heard that annoying horn go off. Today, they called again and I decided to go through with the 10 question survey and I got connected to some guy. I asked him a few questions: How did I qualify for a free cruise and how did you get my number? What are the objectives of your survey I just took? What are you doing market research for? What cruise companies are you affiliated with in regards to giving away a free trip? And if I phone them, can they confirm that surveycruise is permitted to give away these tickets?
Anyways, the young man couldn't give me a straight answer to any of these questions. I gave a wrong last name and my old postal code and he connected me to another automated service directing me to the website. It wouldn't let me access whatever it was.
I'm not sure what this company gains exactly. They don't get money from us. They don't ask enough questions to really get any data for companies doing market research and they don't ask enough personal information to gain much. And I'm sure they pay their employees, so really, the company is at loss.
