Refused a Refund

I purchased a massage voucher on Travelzoo that expired and now the money I paid them for the deal is in limbo. Before the deal expiration date, I tried to contact Jeunesse Spa to set an appointment multiple times, but I either got a busy signal or I would be put on hold for a very long time. I called Travelzoo and they told me that they couldn't help me with a refund. I called the spa last week and got thru and they said they would only honor the voucher for the amount I paid. (if i wanted to get the massage I originally paid for, I would have to cough up another $100 or so). So now because of Travelzoo's policy, the only choices I am left with are either to spend twice what I paid originally for the same service or just say goodbye to the $125 I gave Travelzoo. I've never had a more awful experience with a deal site than this and I can't imagine a Groupon or Google would treat their customers this way.
