Group0 users finds this report useful. UpI responded to a job posting on Craigslist for a seemingly promising position. I received and email from Clarke Careers and Partners, whom I assumed was the company I applied since its the only place I applied. I was so excited because they claimed I was perfect for the position and all I had to do was complete the pre-screening interview and I would soon get a call for a face-to-face interview. Upon completion of the pre - screening, I see its asking me to agree to a credit and background check and when I clicked submit, it took me to a credit score website asking for money. Too bad the position was fake.
I kinda thought this sounded familiar! I cancelled it before i agreed to any $ being charged
