Lighitning struck our home and ran in on our 1st mitsubishi tv which we had had for 8 years.insurance required us to repurhase the same brand model. We loved our first one so this was no big deal. The only one we could find was at best buy. They advised us to get a power strip that had a warranty aabout lightning which we did. After 8 mths we had to replace the bulb at $300.00. That lasted a year to the day. We then replaced another bulb. We have recently replace our bulb for the 3rd time. Now we have white spots all over the tv.in researching this on the internet i have found that it is a wide spread problem that mitz. Is not taking any responsibility for. If there is class action law suit brought against this company please let me know. I would definitly be a willing participant. I do not have the money to replace. If i had not had the issurance i would not have been able to replace the first one.
