I had been applying for partime jobs online so when I received a letter from Consumer Center Research offering me a position as a customer service evaluator, I felt evrything was legit. The company sent me a check for 1306.29 requesting that I send 920.00 to someone in the united kingdom and than spend 100.00 at best buy and keep the rest for myself and I would do this only after I deposited the check and funds became avail. Than I would complete a survey in regards to the service I received. Now after I did everything I was told by the letter, something didnt feel right and I decided to do some research online in hopes of just making myself feel better now I see all the complaints against the company and see it was all a scam... I would really appreciate comments on ways to handle this... My bank hasnt reported anything yet but after reading all the reports. I am scared.
