Called my cell phone from a Portland Oregon number (503-260-3440) at 8am... I live in texas. I was suspicious but answered the questions, when a live operator asked for my name and to confirm my number I asked her how she acquired my info in the first place and she transferred me immediately to the next automated message. I went to the site an was able to access the information they had put down for me, they misspelled my name horribly thank goodness and I edited my number so no one else calls. I also found this other blog list of people who had received letters in the mail from the same company. (http://answers. Yahoo.com/question/index? Qid=20090523141515AA2C9cJ) further down one of the people had contacted the BBB of florida to check the company out and apparently they're an F rating and a total scam. I'd rank them with SilverLeaf resorts scams, fyi they get you at sporting events like MLB and NFL so be on the lookout for them too they promise the free cars and cruises it looks legit but they're trying to get you hooked on a time share and have been trained at the school for haggling. Sure I'd love a free cruise but who wouldn't only problem is its never free and you will have less hassle just booking it with a travel agent or with the cruise you prefer out of the port you want. It would be cheaper for me to sail out of galveston on a booked cruise then spend the money for the taxes on the "free" cruise they offer out of florida which I would have to fly to, rent a car to the harbor and then worry about the conditions of the ship. Overall I appreciate all of the people who have posted on here with the warning. I hope mine enlightens someone also.
