An advert appeared when i was on line, it was a clever ploy to gt attention re skin care and anti wrinkle products. Stupidly i fell for the advert £5.95 trail. Didn't check the full 'terms and conditions' and gave my credit card details.
£ 5.95 was debited, the products received. I had a bad feeling about them for some reason as there was no address or makers details on the product or invoice, on checking my master card i found imy account had been debited with a further £ 75.25. I rang them for 2 days i couldnt get hold of them, when i did, i couldn't understand the operator as her accent was so pronounced and she spoke so quietly, i had to get my husband to speak (i am hearing impaired) who eventually, after much time wasting on the operators part, understood that i wanted to cancel the agreement, she confirmed i would hear within 24 hours. I had spent the whole weekend emailing the company to cancel, and got a computer generated reply. Eventually i got my repsonse my account had been cancelled on 4 December... It does not end there. On checking my master card last night on line, i find they have debited me a further £51.00 on 4 december.
I have had an email confirming my account is cancelled, they have cleverly covered themselves with legal jargon/agreement. Which unfortunately i did not take the trouble to read thoroughly. I see from your scam.com that i am not alone... An expensive lesson to learn especially this time of the year... What thoroughly unscrupulous people use the medium of the internet to falsely advertise their products.
