I received a postcard in the mail. I called the number and spoke to a person who was not an attorney who explained that the law firm could help me negotiate a loan modification. I was very hesitant and had reservations about the whole deal. However, this person continued to call me week after week and finally convinced me to retain the firm to help me. He told me that if they were not successful I might be asked to join a mass joinder suit. I sent in $6,000. I sent in all the required paperwork over the next couple weeks that was asked of me. I subsequently was sent a package for my records that was the same thing sent to my lender. I later received a letter from my bank stating I was denied a loan modification. I was then asked to join the mass joinder lawsuite but I resisted. I spoke with Anthony Kassas and also another attorney named Denny. They decided they would contact the bank again seeking a modification. I had been told that a negotiator had been assigned by my bank and then I heard nothing more. My call and emails went unanswered. Later I learned the office had been siezed when I got emails from Anthony Kassas stating what happened.
