After my puppy was killed in an unfortunate accident I looked in the Pennysaver online for a puppy. I responded to an add for English Bulldog pups. I was contacted by a lady named Lina White. At first I was asked to send $250 to Change over ownership documents. Then was told the puppies needed to be insured for$1,500 before they could be put on a plane which was refundable upon delivery of the pups. Against my better judgement I was coaxed into sending this money Western Union. I received texts daily from Lina supposedly and also received several Phone calls from the supposed Flypets Courier International. Each time a delivery date was set for the pups they would not show up and there would be a request for more money. The last request was for $150.00 for a thermal crate as they claimed that the pups were being held at the airport in Indiana due to atmospheric conditions that were unsuitable to send the pups without a thermal crate. That was the last straw!!! They did not get the money. I then decided to do some investigating online only to discover that someone else had been scammed by the supposed Lina White. They gave an Ohio adress to send money and also one in Cameroon. I hope they get caught. I questioned this person several times about this being a scam and was assured each time that I should have no worries. Well if I didn't have any worries then I sure do now.
