I checked my bank account today and noticed a check was cashed for $99.49. I called my bank and they gave me the name (Premiere Membership Clubs) and their phone # (818-380-5710). I actually got through to someone the 2nd time I called, she had a middle-eastern accent and told me that I approved the company to take the money from my account for discounts to places like Kohls and a whole slew of other businesses. I said that I never gave my permission for anyone to take money from my account for COUPONS. She told me that they never would have taken the money without my permission, so she was basically calling me a liar. I was furious by this point and she started asking me all of my information (SSN, Bank acct, address, etc) to start the refund process. She said it would take about 15 working days to get the money credited back to my account and from what I've read so far with this scam, I think they are gonna hit my account again. My bank suggested I keep the account open since they said they are going to refund it, and to keep a close eye on it. I did just apply and was approved for a loan from a different company so I think this has something to do with it. Has anyone out there gotten their refund?
