TV Shipping Nightmare - Delivery

My boyfriend and I ordered a TV from Dell.com, the website and confirmation receipt e-mail estimated the delivery date to be within the next 7 business days or earlier. After about 2 weeks of waiting for a delivery that never showed up, we called in.By the way - good luck getting someone who speaks English on their customer care lines. They are all in India, probably being paid a nickel an hour. Anyway I was eventually told they did not know when my TV would be delivered since we live in a smaller town they wont be coming to my city until they fill a whole freight truck and so far we were the first order in the last 2 months in my area. They said it could be 1 month, it could be 3 months, that they really did not know. So basically we may never have gotten it. We ended up with 2 options; 1. Drive 3 hours the next day after finding this out, to go pick it up, or 2. Drive 6 hours to pick it up whenever we want to. So - if you do not want to spend a bunch of extra gas money and take time off work to go pick up your order because Dell's service is too incompetent to provide good service, then don't go through Dell... I would never ever recommend Dell to anyone, nor will I ever order from them again. They just made their bad reputation even worse. Nice work Dell!
