Beware of this Craigslist SCAM!!! Watch out for the following names:

This is AKA the "Travis Lawson" scam.

This is the address where they ask you to wire money to, do not do it! Walk away from this transaction. For more instances of these type of scams, search the internet for "Travis Lawson craigslist scam". When I was contacted, it was always from a "...@gmail" email address, and the scammer used a couple different email addresses, with some BS excuse about why.
Long story short, I had a item for sale on Craigslist, and following a week of once per night, late night emails, here is the most recent email from the scam artist:
Good News, The payment has already been delivered to you this morning... If should there be any delay with its delivery please call the Fedex on phone * to find out the where about of the
payment..., Now you have the check i will like you to take the check to your Bank and have it cashed immedialtely or deposit it into your bankaccount and withdrawn the shipping funds. You will deduct the cost of the purchase out of the cash, $100 for your runing around, $20 for the transport fees to transfer the remaining money to the shipper via Western Union Money Transfer today. Here is the shipper information to send the money to via Western Union or Money Gram Money Transfer...

1. The mtcn or reference
2. Sender's name and address used in sending the money
3. Actual amount sent.
Please pay off the Transfer charges from the remaining fund after you must have deducted your money and the $100 that is to cover the cost of your run around and Extra $20 for the Gas fees. Kindly locate a Western Union store close to address from their website http://www.westernunion.com/info/agentLocator.Asp? Country=global Please also email me the best time you want my mover to come for the pick up at your location today and your map quest for easy way for my mover to know your house asap...* pay off the transfer charges from the excess fund that is going to shipping company.

They offer to send you via "certified check" more money than you are asking, and in return want you to wire them back the remaining balance, along with a bunch of BS reasons. Problem is, the check they send you is a fraud, and will ultimately bounce. They are hoping you will wire them your hard earned "good money", before their check bounces. And later you will be held responsible for the bad check, you will be left holding the bag.
They probably never even plan to come pick up what they are buying from you, they just want you to wire them money! Do not fall for this! Never send money to anyone, when using Craigslist you should always meet in person and deal in cash. That is my advice.
Luckily I googled the Denise Cockey wire transfer address when I got the above email, or else I may have went through with this friggin transaction. I almost got burned, and I learned a very valuable lesson this week. Don't let this happen to you.
