National Legal Solutions placed a television advertisement promising to assist home owners to lower their mortgage payments under the US government Obama Plan.
I called the 1-800 number to begin the process of mortgage modification. I filled out 24 legal documents (supposedly) to verify that my debt to income ratio was negative enought to qualify.
The next day they called me to say I qualified and they would accept my case for government assistance. I authorized them to withdrawal $3400.00 from my savings (my last money).
After they electronically withdrew my money, I had to email a copy of all my credit card information, copies of my tax information, copies of all my bills, and copies of all my pay stubs from work, to name a few (everything about me). They assured me they would contact me within two months to inform me of my lower mortgage payment.
Two months later I tried to contact them but the number was out of order. I went to the bank and they would not help because I authorized the draft in writing.
I researched the company online and found out they have scammed hundreds, if not thousands of people nationally. Everytime they almost get caught they change the name of the company. I heard they have changed their company name at least four times.
