Received a letter with a check to do a survey about a business, either walmart, best buy or k-mart and make a purchase for $200 and keep what I purchase then put $1000 through western union with a $150 fee, but I had 48 hours to do this survey after the funds were available. The name on the check was by Schurhammer Jewelry, inc. At 131 W. Main st. Wabasha, MN 55981 bank name said First State Bank of Wabasha; Wabasha, MN 55981. The letter gave me a number to call on completion of this "assignment" 1-416-831-8701. On the letter enclosed with the check, the name Lorin Boswell noted as the vice president operations with the address on the right top corner, 350 saint peter st. Suite 201, st. Paul, MN. 55102 email - info. [email protected]. Well it Sounds too suspicious reading all the other scam reports. I am going to do some more research on this, but I want everyone to know I received the same thing. I have not responded to this letter nor have I cashed the check.
