Received identical "FINAL NOTICE" demanding $275.included our correct account number, however I was certain our company did not owe any money. I called the CA-BOE directly 800-400-7115, gave them my information and confirmed I owed no money. The operator never heard of "California Labor Compliance Bureau." There is a group within the BOE concerning Compliance, but Los Angeles is not one of the 7 listed locations. The operator and I both Google'd the supposed bureau's name, and usacomplaints.com was the first entry.
DO NOT SEND MONEY, call the BOE to confirm you don't owe any money. Good luck and much thanks to this thread.
