I locked my keys in my car. I called pop-a-lock and was quoted a $41 flat rate. This is the first time I've needed to call a locksmith and I thought that was a lot.in an attempt to get a better rate I called Run Local. They charge a $15 dollar travel fee. The customer service both on the technician's part and the person I originally spoke to was lacking. While waiting I looked further into Run Local and found that this company had a tendency of charging outrageous prices. When the technician showed up he was not polite. He quoted me a $115 charge. When I confronted him about the ridiculous price he lowered it to $85. I'm an idiot but I agreed to pay the travel fee and was informed that it require an additional $5 to use a credit card. I explained to him what I had read, he said that he was upset because I "called him a scam and he had to get out of bed." He arrived at my house at 2:30 in the afternoon.
